Biography
Born in Tainan in 1928 and died in 2013, Jang Bing-tang’s work is characterized by the vibrant colors associated with Fauvism, while also reflecting the intense sunlight of Tainan and the distinctive colors used in local temples. His art frequently focused on landscapes featuring the Tainan Canal, temples, and major cultural landmarks.
