Marcos Kueh

Born in Sarawak, Malaysia, in 1995 and currently based in The Hague, Netherlands, Marcos Kueh graduated from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. Working primarily with textiles, he draws on traditional weaving practices in Borneo and his own experiences of growing up to explore colonial histories, identity, and cultural representation. In recent years, his art has focused on diaspora, labor, and textile production, incorporating his experiences as a migrant working in Europe’s industrial sector.
