Mei Chee-seong

A Malaysian architect, Mei Chee-seong is the manager of aLM Architects and co-founder of COEX, an arts and cultural hub in Penang. With more than 20 years of experience in architectural design, he has long been engaged in community development, adaptive reuse, and the revitalization of cultural spaces, and has extended his architectural practice into experience design and curation. He has spearheaded the transformation of abandoned industrial spaces into creative and cultural venues, established COEX as an important cultural hub in Penang, and actively fostered cross-border cultural and artistic exchange between Malaysia and Taiwan.
