Nakamura Ayaka
Biography
Born in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, in 1982, Nakamura Ayaka graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture at Shinshu University. After working in strawberry cultivation, she turned to artistic practice, focusing primarily on her distinctive handmade hats. Since 2019, she has served as a coordinator for the Shinano Province Primitive Sense Art Festival, and since 2026, she has served as Vice Chairperson of the nonprofit organization Primitive Sense Company.
