Biography
Founded by Jamie Tu in Tainan in 1992, New Phase Art Space brought together a gallery, theater, bookstore, café, lecture space, and other cultural facilities, and promoted contemporary and experimental art. Originally located on Yongfu Road, the space relocated to Minquan Road in 1996 and ceased operation in 1999. Tu subsequently continued her engagement with urban art, participating in the Haian Road Art Street initiative and later founding Inart Space and B.B.ART.
