Wu Yu-han

Born in Taiwan in 1993, Wu Yu-han graduated from the MFA Program in the Department of Fine Arts at National Kaohsiung Normal University and is currently pursuing a degree from the university's Graduate Institute of Transdisciplinary Arts. Her practice is inspired by lived experience and family history, and focuses on river basins, local memory, and ethnic histories. Since participating in field-based walking research along the Fu'an Keng River in 2024, she has embarked on an ongoing investigation into her family history and local fieldwork, tracing stories connected to her maternal Hakka ancestral home and extending her research to issues concerning Taiwan's Pazeh indigenous people.
