Yang Chi-chuan

Born in Taipei in 1985, Yang Chi-chuan explores everyday life, family, politics, urban environments, and cultural textures through sculpture and spatial installations. Her practice often combines self-made objects with generous expanses of empty space. Scattered throughout the exhibition space like snippets of poetry, line breaks, and shifts in imagery, these objects invite viewers to move through the work, and in the brisk narrative rhythm, experience a restrained yet resonant mode of looking.
